1:87. HO scale railway model of 12mm gauge. ???? ?????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????? It is an update version of “1:87, HO scale railway model of 12mm gauge, and model train set”. The slide show in the first half is a module layout that I have produced up to now. Meccano and train paradise!
This is the Moseley Narrow Gauge Railway and Toy Museum at Tolgus Mount, Redruth, Cornwall, England. Marvel at the Meccano exhibits including what looks like the original massive shipbuilding crane depicted on the instructions of 1960s Meccano sets. Then there’s a Lancaster, Vimy bomber, an airship… so many models and ancient Meccano sets that the mind boggles. It’s also a model train enthusiast’s delight, with trains on the floor and at waist height completely surrounding you. Outside you can ride on a real train, albeit an industrial narrow gauge one that goes on a 600-yard loop. It might be a relic of tin mining days, but I’m not sure. There’s also a small coal mine museum -a bit out of place in Cornwall! -and a donkey ride. The perfect afternoon out for the child in you.
Monster layout update 6-5-2009 (Nothing special)
Another layout update. Not much really, except for the new Kato SD40-2’s, & a few other layout details. Any questions about anything, just ask. I’ll be glad to answer.
